Professional Experience and Areas of Concentration

Health Law

Ms. Peister represents health care entities and licensed professionals including physicians, dentists, nurses, and chiropractors in litigation, arbitration, and administrative matters involving licensing and privileges. Ms. Peister also assists such clients on a variety of issues, including: health care compliance matters, health care contracts, and transactions.  

Premise Liability Defense and Litigation

Ms. Peister also represents a variety of clients and businesses outside the healthcare arena. Ms. Peister represents clients in matters such as employment issues, personal injury defense, premise liability defense, auto accidents, wage disputes, contracting and general litigation matters. As with her work in the healthcare arena, Ms. Peister is committed to providing clients with thorough and cost-effective representation.

Appellate Practice

Ms. Peister also represents clients at the appellate level and has filed appellate briefs in the Colorado Supreme Court.


Ms. Peister has been admitted to practice in Colorado, the Federal District Court of Colorado, and in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Peister is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association (Health Law Section), Douglas/Elbert County Bar Association, and the Colorado Women’s Bar Association.
